You Too Can Be Healed!

Consider, for example, the time He brought the Israelites out of Egypt. He did such a mighty work of healing among them “there was not one feeble person among their tribes” (Psalm 105:37). Imagine it! God healed millions of Israelites all at once. He is able to do that, so you can rest assured He can handle any sickness that might come against you. You’re just one person. Healing you of anything is easy for God! For Him to do it, however, you need to give Him something to work with.

What do you have to give Him?
Faith! Not just a vague kind of hope that everything will turn out all right. But real, Bible faith based on God’s Word. The kind of faith that makes you bold enough to believe and say,“As surely as it was God’s will to heal the Israelites, it’s His will to heal me. So I believe I receive my healing now.

Step Into the Light

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105

As long as you live by the Word of God, you never have to be in the dark again. You never have to remain in confusion about which path to take. You never have to grope blindly along, struggling to find your own way.

Isn’t that great? Isn’t it exciting to know that the Word of God will give you all the light you need every day of your life if you’ll allow it to?

Build your faith in that Word and renew your commitment to it as you make this confession today:

“Father, in the Name of Jesus, I commit myself to walk in Your Word. I recognize that Your Word is integrity itself– steadfast, sure, eternal–and I trust my life to its provisions.

“You have sent Your Word forth into my heart. I let it dwell in me richly in all wisdom. It does not depart out of my mouth; I meditate in it day and night so that I may diligently act on it. Your Word is an incorruptible seed, abiding in my spirit, and it’s growing mightily in me now, producing Your nature, Your life.

“I thank You, Father, that Your Word is my counsel, my shield, my buckler, my powerful weapon in battle. It is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It makes my way straight before me, and I never stumble or fall for my steps are ordered by Your Word.

“I recognize the strategies and deceits of Satan and I put a stop to them by speaking Your Word out of my mouth in faith.

“I am confident, Father, that You are at work in me both to will and to do Your good pleasure. I exalt Your Word. I hold it in high esteem and give it first place in my life. I boldly and confidently say that my heart is fixed and established on the solid foundation–the living Word of God. Amen!

Tap Into the Truth

When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
~ John 16:13

Jesus said the Holy Spirit would guide us into all truth. Not just enough truth to get by on. Not just an occasional truth to help us teach our Sunday school classes. All truth!

If you’re a businessman, that means the Holy Spirit will show you how to increase your profits and reduce your expenses. If you’re a mother, it means the Holy Spirit will show you how to settle arguments between your children. If you’re a student, it means the Holy Spirit will show you how to excel in your classes.

In fact, if you know Jesus Christ and are baptized in the Holy Ghost, somehow inside you is the answer to every financial problem, every spiritual problem and every physical problem that exists. You have answers for problems you don’t even know about yet!
Back during World War II, for example, the United States ran into some serious trouble. Their ships were being sunk by the enemy faster than they could build new ones, a process which at that time took a year.
In an effort to solve their dilemma, a method was devised by which a ship could be built in a single day. The problem was, the process involved building the ship upside down and, when the ships were turned upright, the welds would pop and the ship would come apart.
The problem was presented to a deeply spiritual man who was a famous industrialist at the time. “I’ll find out how to do it,” he said. And, sure enough, after days of prayer and fasting, God showed him the welding formula that would hold the ship together.

If you’re facing a problem today, don’t drag around trying to handle it on your own. Take Jesus at His Word and start asking the Holy Spirit to give you the knowledge you need to solve it. Put the wisdom of the ages to work on your job, in your family and in your world. Tap into the truths He’s placed in you.

Turn Up Your Hope

May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing–through the experience of your faith–that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing(bubbling over) with hope.

~ Romans 15:13

You know, that’s what I want to be…running over with hope! I want to dare to throw my whole life and everything I have into building a dream that comes from the heart of God. I want to get out there so far that without God’s help, I can’t get back.

Many people don’t think that way though because they’re afraid to fail. Fear of failure is dangerous. If you let it dominate you, it will cause you to do the one thing that inevitably guarantees failure and that’s not attempting at all.

How do you counteract the fear of failure?

You turn up your hope. You get alone with God and listen to Him. You meditate on His promises until the picture is so clear on the inside of you that nothing can jar it out of you.

If you’re lying on a sickbed and the doctor has told you you’ll never walk again, instead of wallowing around in that bad report, you start dreaming. You start building a dream of climbing mountains and witnessing to people in the backwoods. Go to the Word that promises that those who wait upon the Lord shall run and walk and not faint or be weary. Look at it until you see nothing else. Picture yourself walking for miles and running from one place to the next, telling everyone that Jesus has raised you up and made you whole.

That’s what hope is all about. It’s a divine dream. It’s an inner image that’s bigger than you are because it’s built on the promises of God.

If you’re a Christian, you ought to be a dreamer. Take the Word of God and build some dreams today.

For I Know His Plans Towards Me

If you are a Christian, at one point or another in your walk you have heard or read the part of the bible that says

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ESV)

We read it and get excited about our lives, I mean who wouldn’t!?! We just got reassured & a 100% guarantee of great things happening to us. I have read this scripture so many times and also got peace in the midst of storms. I have read it and just hoped for the sun to shine. I have read it in times of smooth sailing and just worshiped because He is a good God and gave me this promise even without me asking but something interesting happened to me today. As I read this scripture again, I got a deeper and heart jumping revelation into this promise. For once, I lifted the covers and saw what else was hidden in this promise. I guess you can say the deep things of God were revealed unto me and I’m super excited to share it with you today.

When God promised plans of peace & welfare for me, this is what else He promised. He promised me & you:

  • Good fortune
  • Great health (I mean come on, He isn’t going to give me or you shabby health.)
  • Happiness
  • Prosperity
  • Abundance
  • Ease
  • Advantage
  • Progress
  • Satisfaction
  • Success
  • Profit
  • Protection
  • Comfort
  • Security

The list goes on & on! This is exciting! So now when you read this scripture, what does it tell you? It says,

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for (good fortune/health/happiness/prosperity/abundance/…..) and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

You get the picture right? 🙂

So now when you renew your faith with this verse, see all the other things God has in store for you. Confess them in faith and see the hand of God move with gladness in your life.

Get Your Hope Up Right Now!

Whatever goal or dream God has placed in your heart, you’re going to see it come to pass. It might not happen when you thought it would happen, and it might not happen the way you thought it would happen, but God is going to work in such a way as to exceed your wildest expectations too. You won’t have to make it happen in your strength. All you have to do is persevere— just don’t give up. Surround yourself with hope and watch God bless you in ways you never thought possible.

Eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed] . 1 Corinthians 2:9

I believe that God has many pleasant surprises waiting for you, things He has prepared that are waiting for you. Keep your hopes up!
~ Excerpt from Get Your Hopes Up by Joyce Meyer.

He’ll Be Listening

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

1 John 5:14-15

Have you ever been in prayer and suddenly had the disturbing sensation that God simply isn’t listening?

It’s happened to all of us. We limp along praying the same old prayers, half-hoping those prayers are heard and half-suspecting they’re not.

Today I want to show you how to resolve that dilemma once and for all. But let me warn you, I’m not going to slap you on the back and assure you God will listen to any old doubtful, self-centered thing you say to Him. He won’t. He’s only promised to listen to prayers that are prayed according to His will. The Apostle John says when you pray like that, you’ll know that you have the petitions you desire of Him.

The word petition is defined as “a formal written request addressed to a sovereign superior of a particular right or grace,” and that’s exactly what you need when you’re praying about something serious.

How do you put together a solid petition, one that’s in line with the will of God?

First, you have to roll up your sleeves and dig into the written Word. Find scriptures that apply to your situation and make those the foundation for your petition.

Then get on your knees and consult with the Holy Spirit. Let Him help you develop your petition in detail. The best way to do that is to spend time praying in other tongues. (See Romans 8:26-27.) Expect God to reveal things from His heart to yours. He wants you to know His will. So, while you’re praying, listen!

Last of all, write it down. Make a formal written request by writing down every scripture you found. Also, as you’re listening to the Holy Spirit for the details, write down the impressions and ideas He gives you.

Take your time. Let the Spirit develop your prayer. Let the truth He reveals to you settle in and begin to work in you. Get your petition firmly in mind, then when you’re ready, present it to God.

Believe me, He’ll be listening
