Mac Moments

I have been using a mac for almost four years now and really by now somethings should feel normal and be taken for granted but the ability to do certain things with ease still stirs up something in me. The effect is felt more when working on something really important and a lot. The great part is, all these things are right out of the box! No download, no installations, nothing!

So these are my favorite mac moments.
Note: You may need to try these out by yourself to get the full gist πŸ˜‰ #ItsAnAppleThing

1. Shift + Command + 4 (Who needs PrintScreen! :P)

2. Preview via the space bar (Why open the document just to find out it is not what you were looking for)

3. Expose (I know Windows 7 has the same underlying idea but its sweeter and easier here! πŸ˜› )

4. Spaces (When one screen is just not enough!)

5. Resizable dock (comes in handy during writers block moments πŸ™‚ )

6. Dashboard (Especially when watching trailers)

7. Spotlight Calculations (Saved me many times πŸ˜‰ )

8. Time Machine (Realllly go back in time with your machine)

9. DigitalColor Meter (life saver during web design or any kind of graphic design)

10. Last but definitely not the least iPhoto moments!

Bonus: Hibernate 1 month + and still going strong! like it was yesterday it got powered on. (probably not a good idea but hey! We have to live up to our crapiness as end users :D)

Oh by the way, for diehard SJ fans, he has got his own action figure now. Not sure If it should be called action or I want him sitting on my desk but hey! that is just me πŸ™‚ Full Story here:Β http://mashable.com/2010/11/21/steve-jobs-action-figure/
